Inspection pit (Earth Pit)
.According to the standards related to earth system issues such as IEEE 80 and BS 7430, all ground systems must have a place for testing and measurement, which must have the property of cutting off the ground system from the equipment, and also used to divert and connect the other earth systems.
The Inspection Pit must be chemically resistant and have high strength. The test required for the check earth pit is according to the IEC-62561-5 standard of pressure tolerance test, whose standard value varies for different uses. For heavy uses, the standard value is 30 kN and for medium weight uses, for example car standard value is 15 kN and for sidewalks 4 kN is reported.
